It's time to finalize next year's classes

Starting tomorrow I will be meeting students and families to help them figure out which classes they should be taking in the coming school year. Please plan to meet once your child's transcript is updated and they have their course list/schedule from their high school.

In this meeting we will go over the GPA and the strength of the transcript. We will cover the different choices your child will have in various subjects. We will also create a 3 or 4 year plan so that the progression is clearly outlined and your student understands the benefits of these choices.

Please send your student's latest transcript (first semester grades need to be finalized before we meet) and the course sheet to me two days before our appointment.

Class of 2026: Freshmen benefit when they come in for academic counseling sooner rather than later. Creating a 4-year plan now helps ease the stress of junior and senior year.

Class of 2025: Sophomore year is a great time to come in and see what needs to be done and make sure you're on the right track for the rest of high school.

Class of 2024: Junior year is when we really start the college admission process. Let's plan a meeting and go through your to-do list. It's not too late to sign up for the Junior Jumpstart Comprehensive Package, let's talk if you have questions.

Class of 2023: My seniors are done with applications and many of them have already been accepted into their top choice colleges. Acceptances have come in from Purdue University, Northeastern University, Santa Clara University, Sacramento State, Arizona State, Penn State, and more. UC decisions start coming out in mid March. Keep an eye out for my April post for more info on 2023 admission data. Good job Class of 2023!
